    Leo, as he is known in Hollywood, or Lolo, as his
    family and close friends call him - was born in Peru.
    Already, as a small child he decided to be an
    engineer. Therefore he came to study to the United
    States to make all his dreams come true. He started
    his studies and graduated at Western States College
    of Engineering in 1976.
      He was always persistent in studying, never stopped learning. He did
    and completed numerous courses in Computer Programming and
    System Analysis, Key Punch for IBM,  VCR Technology & Repair,
    Operational Amplifier Circuits, Electronic Communications,
    Microcomputer Memory Design, Radar System Fundamentals,
    Correspondence in Radio and Television, also in music - just to
    mention some of them.        

      After working for several years as an Aerospace Engineer for  
    Hughes Aircraft Space and Communication Group, building commercial
    and military satellites for NASA, also for the Space Shuttle, in 1990  he
    took a 180-degree turn in his career. He went to a journalism school
    and specialized in the entertainment industry.
     
      In 1985 he founded and leaded  for years a computer business for
    sales and services with the name Computer Video Doctor.
     
      In 1990 Leo and his brother Fidel Ventocilla, founded VP
    Entertainment Inc. (Ventocilla Productions Entertainment, shortly VPE)
    to produce TV documentaries.
      
            He won an Emmy for directing a documentary about The Lord of Sipan
    filmed in Peru.        

      Leo wrote articles, and movie reviews for several newspapers and
    magazines, such as Press Telegram, El Salvadoreno News He also
    sent exclusive interviews to Peru for Caretas,  Gente and for  the
    Gisela Magazine - just to name some of them. He was one of the
    charter members of Para Todos.  
      
      He had the possibility to meet and have interviews and exclusives
    with the famous ones of Hollywood, such as: Sean Connery, Jack
    Nicholson, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Antonio Banderas, Charlie
    Angels (Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz), Bruce Willis, Robin
    Williams, Mel Gibson, Jennifer Lopez, Christopher Walken, John
    Travolta, Salma Hayek, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and many more.

     In 2001 and 2002 for his work he was voted as the Best International
    Correspondent  in Peru.

      In 2005 Leo started his own radio program The Ventocilla Show.
    Recently he founded DTodos, a bilingual (English & Spanish) tabloid
    newspaper, and also KLeo TV.

      Presently he also works as a contractor for ARN (American Radio
    Network) as an FCC licensed Broadcast Engineer. Once in a while he
    also works as a contractor in the Aerospace/Electronic Industry, gives
    computer, mathematics or journalism seminars.

      Leo is currently an active member of the Academy of Television Arts
    and Sciences, eligible to vote in competition for the Golden Globe
    awards. He  is also an active member of  the Hollywood Chamber of
    Commerce.

      In his spare time he likes to play the piano.
